Purpose

包容卓越，公正 & 解放奖是为了表彰那些表现出卓越的努力和智力领导，以促进和促进喇沙修士原则-尊重所有人的教师, inclusive community, 透过服务，关注穷人及社会公义, research, and/or teaching. Inclusive excellence, justice and liberation are deemed to include: 1) humanization of all people: Honoring and championing the dignity of all individuals; 2) critically conscious inclusive community building: Celebrating our differences and welcoming all members to our community, 在认识到并减少再现不平等现象的系统(有影响力的变革和社会行动)的同时:启动暴露, critique, and dismantle structural inequities as well as centering the voices of marginalized populations); and 3) working in solidarity with the historically disenfranchised and oppressed and advocating for those suffering from injustices.

Eligibility

有资格获得包容性卓越，正义 & 获得解放奖，个人必须:

1. 成为教职员工(终身教职), tenure-track, salaried, 在圣玛丽书院至少有一年的工作经验;
2. 在过去10年内未获此奖项.

Nomination Process

• 该奖项的提名可能来自SMC的教师、主席和/或院长. (也允许自我提名.) 
• 这个奖项最有力的候选人不仅要体现这些社区原则本身, 而且还能激励他人，对校园社区产生明显的影响.
• 一份描述被提名人如何符合选择标准的提名提交，并更新C.V.

Selection Process

学院发展总监及教学委员会, Learning, 和奖学金根据以下标准组成评选委员会. 获奖者将在2024年3月15日的十大网赌平台招待会上宣布.

Selection Criteria

提名将根据以下三个标准进行审查:

• 尊重所有人:激励他人培养承认和尊重所有人固有尊严的态度和行为.
• 包容性社区:有助于营造一个欢迎和重视所有人的校园环境, 这集中了边缘化群体的声音, 这就带来了批判性的关注，并积极地整合了不同的观点, worldviews, 以及被边缘化人群的经历来创造一个具有批判性意识和包容性的社区.
• 关注穷人和社会正义:发起揭露, critique, 消除结构性不平等和再生产不平等的制度, poverty, and social injustice.

Form of Award

每位获奖者将获得证书和金钱奖励，由获奖者自行决定使用. 教务处图书馆将展出一幅列有年度得奖者名单的永久牌匾. 如果在某一年没有合适的候选人，奖金将被扣留.
